Show Saturday bazaar will aid county handicapped i ,., 3 i " r - ' :'V I r r v X ,oi v V-.-v s 1 u-V ft .- A t J-' 'i II I , I t ;' t V A x 1 i - I - j The annual fund-raisingbazaar of the Association for Retarded Citizens Utah County North promises prom-ises a multitude of new and exciting excit-ing gift ideas and activities. There will be "lots of different booths," said Kay Beck and Anne Clyde, co-chairs of the Oct. 28 event. The bazaar will be held at the American Fork Senior Citizen Center, 54 E. Main. Activities will go from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. "We will have something for the whole family," the chair persons said, with booths including everything every-thing from an education booth, to kitchen items, and holiday decor (including Halloween). There will be a unique T-shirtbooth T-shirtbooth featuring designs for both the young and the young-at-heart as well as booths featuring baby items, wood items, potpourri, and the always favorite baked goods and candy booths. Participants can purchase lunch, and will have the opportunity to win prizes including an overnight stay at the Red Lion Inn in Salt Lake City, a snowboard, a 20-inch mountain bike, and a quilt. Drawings for gift certificates and merchandise from the local merchants mer-chants will be held every hour. Proceeds from the bazaar go to support handicapped groups in the area including Kids on the Move (a preschool), the Timp Industries workshop, Respite Care, Recreation Recrea-tion for Adult Handicapped (RAH), the Dan Peterson School and other organizations that request aid. Donations are welcomed and may be given to the sale by contacting Kay Beck at 756-8551 or Anne Clyde at 756-7007. "We are grateful to the community commu-nity for the support they have given us in the past, and are looking forward to their help again this year," Mrs. Clyde said. "Their time and talent will be well spent because they are making mak-ing a brighter future for our kids," Ms. Beck added.
