JpP I, Michelle Larson Robby Jones Beary Best players named gwa To be the Beary Best Players of the week, the athletes at Pleasant Grove High School have to display not only excellent skills in the game, but also in practice. Those that have been chosen this week from the volleyball teams are Michelle Larsen from the varsity, Shannon West from the J.V. and Roxanne Crosby from the sophomore. This will be the last week for the football, with the ending of the season. The varsity player is Robby Jones, Nate Jones from the J.V. team and Gage Hansen from the sophomore team. Michelle had a good match against Provo last week, particularly particu-larly with her blocking front row hitting. Coach Bone said that she has a difficult job coming off the bench, but she always works hard. Coach Dahl said that Shannon was really a all-around player in her match. She was complimented for her passing hustle, her great back row play and for always being a tough server. Roxanne is a setter, and Coach Phelon said that she is getting better every week. She said that she has appreciate her atti tude and how she encourages the whole team. Robby did well in a tough game against Orem last week. Coach Hoover said that he is always a very tough defensive player, and he works hard at stopping the offense of-fense of the other team. He said that they have really depended on Robbys defensive abilities this season. Nate ran back a kick off for a touchdown for an amazing 70 years. He also had a pass interception, and played very tough and smart against Orem, and has progressed really well this season. Coach Blaisdell said the Gage ran very well this past week, also displaying tough defense. He said that he had a great game, and should be proud of his play. He said that Gage was a major factor in P.G. staying in the game. All of these players will be awarded a Mama Bear Sundae from Beary Best Ice Cream.
