Show PL Grove Marching Band wins again competition slated, support needed ' Another week of competition marching has brought the Pleasant Pleas-ant Grove Hih School Band more awards. Over 2T-00 hi'h school students participated in these competitions. Observers said the performances were very exciting and entertaining. entertain-ing. Not only that, but participants go the extra mile to hel p each other. This was evident this past Wednesday evening when the Pleasant Pleas-ant Grove Band's equipment was late for the Nebo Competition. The word went out that the band was missing it's large equipment and drum major stand. American Fork High School Band came to P.G's aid and loaned all of its equipment and even helped set it up so that Pleasant Grove's band was able to put on its complete show. At the conclusion of the show the PGHS Band took first place, with Springville coming in second and Payson third. American Fork took the Sweepstakes Award.
