Show i Senior Citizens announce November activities The Pleasant Grove area senior fit izens have announced the month's activities and lunch menus for November. Don Machan w'ill sing for the group at 1 1 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 3. On Monday, Nov. 6, V&S Variety will hold an Early Bird sale for senior citizens only which will give them an opportunity to shop before regular store hours. The Senior Citizen Center will be closed on Friday, Nov. 10, for Veterans Day. The Governors Conference on the aging will be held Tuesday, Nov. 14. The annual Turkey Day luncheon lunch-eon will be held on Thursday, Nov. 16. Mr. Harward from American Fork Hospital will discuss "Hearing "Hear-ing for the Elderly" on Tuesday, Nov. 21. The Center will be closed on Thursday and Friday, Nov. 23 and 24, for the Thanksgiving Holiday. On Thursday, Nov. 30, Utah Power and Light will present a cooking class, "Micro," at 2 p.m. Lunch is served at the center each weekday, unless otherwise noted. All senior citizens are invited in-vited to attend but 24 hour notice is required to order the lunches. A nominal fee is charged for the lunches which provide the nutrition nutri-tion required for most senior citi zens. Call 785-2818 to order lunch. Menus are subject to change. Nov. 1: Pork chow mein, chinese noodles, pear and cottage cheese salad, pumpkin pie, whole wheat roll. Nov. 2: Seaburger with tartar sauce, lettuce and tomato garnish, tatar tots, cole slaw, butterscotch pudding. Nov. 3: Beef stroganoff with noodles, Brussel sprouts, vegetable sticks, strawberry shortcake, white roll. Nov. 6: Veal Wisconsin, parslied new potatoes, green peas, stuffed peach salad, Jello jubilee, white roll. Nov. 7: Hamburger pie, mashed potatoes, tossed salad, raisin filled cookies, whole wheat roll. Nov. 8: Ham and broccoli roll with cheese sauce, molded jellied salad, Boston cream cake, white roll. Nov. 9: Beef and pepper steak with rice, whole kernel corn, lettuce let-tuce wedge, jelly roll, white roll. Nov. 13: Roast beef with gravy, mashed potatoes with gravy, Italian Ital-ian mixed vegetables, tossed salad, cherry pie, white roll. Nov. 14: Assorted fettucini, spinach spin-ach with lemon, tomato and cottage cot-tage cheese, chocolate cake, white roll.
