Show Rtinsf in Primary Election is important exercise of rights The local election scene has been so quiet over the past few months that it may suprise many that Tuesday is Primary Election Day. In fact, there are few contests to generate the type of interest that accompanies the general election in two months. Nevertheless, Neverthe-less, Tuesday's election includes some important races. Democrats throughout Utah County will help decide whether Craig Oliver or Robert Stringham will challenge Howard Nielson for Utah's Third Congressional District. Although Nielson has maintained a strong hold on his post ever since he won it, and is in a good position to win again, local Democrats must decide who is best prepared to give Nielson a good contest. Republicans will be selecting candidates for two seats in the Utah House of Representatives - both of the contests are impor tant and merit the voters attention.
