"State- The tragic death of 7-and-a-half-year-old Judd Jones last week near Sego Lily Elementary in Lehi should serve as a solemn reminder to everyone that a small body is no match for a moving automobile. It must be pointed out that in Judd's case, the driver has been found to be blameless. Accounts of the accident indicate the car was moving very slowly when the youth dashed from between two parked cars into the road --and --and the path of the oncoming vehicle. Reduced speed limits would have made no difference in this case. And while many feel a crossing guard is needed near the school, several schools in the Alpine School District with a similar traffic pattern operate well without crossing guards.
