Her classes, offered through the Pleasant Grove Parks and Recreation, has given a mental as well as physical workout to the students. "Mr. Lang taught all of his students to be teachers, as well as practitioners of the art," recalls Mrs. DeGroot. She is currently studying under fifth degree master instructor Yong Woo Kim. "Master Kim is a perfectionist and thoroughly enjoys passing on the traditions of Tae Kwon Do to his students," she said. Master Kim is president of the USTU (United States Tae Kwon Do Union) for the state of Utah.
