Throughout his life he has enjoyed gardening. Even to this day he gets a lot of enjoyment taking care of his yard. He has always had a small garden and enjoyed sharing the harvest with his family. Fishing and camping have been the joy of his life. Over the years it has included children and grandchildren grand-children and many family traditions and memories were made on these trips. During his latter years he has enjoyed visits with old friends and reminiscing about the history of Pleasant Grove. He enjoys visits from his family and family get-togethers. get-togethers. He has admonished his family to live an honest life and to have only that which they work for. He says his greatest joys have come from his family and his activity in the church. The family of Vivian M. Bezzant will honor him on his 80th birthday Saturday, April 30, at his home in Pleasant Grove. He was born in Pleasant Grove on April 30, 1908 to Alfred and Josephine Bezzant. He has lived most of his life in Pleasant Grove. He married Delia Johnson of Lakeview on July 9, 1929. In 1949 their marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He has three daughters: Eva Jean Young, Orem; Darlene Olsen and LuDene Barton, both of Pleasant Grove. He has eight grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. grand-children. In his earlier life, Viv worked at the smelters in Garfield. He worked in California for a few years and upon his return to Utah he hired on at Geneva Steel.
