Show i BYU bike race set Sat. ' Bite racing enthusiasts of all ages ! nll participate in the 2nd Annual i Homecoming Bike Race scheduled 'j Saturday, Oct. 9, at BYU. ' II Race chairman Darin Allred, a .J) freshman in business finance from Mankato, Minn., said the 22-mile s race will be divided into two fc categories - one for women and one f or men. I i Racers must register by 7 a.m. in the Cannon Center at Helaman J Halls, with the women's race jl beginning at 7:15 a.m. and the men's shortly after, Allred said Registration is $10 per person. Each contestants will receive a tee-shirt and bicycle water bottle for entering the races. Prizes will be awarded following the race. Allred said the course will cover the Helaman Halls' road area, which goes around all the buildings in the complex except one. The course also has some hills and good corners. Traffic will be blocked off for the safety of the racers. |
