Show Lucy Adams Phillips to be honored at birthday open house Lucy Adams Phillips will celebrate her 86th birthday on Tuesday, Oct. 13. Her family will honor her with an open house at the Senior Citizens Building in American Fork from 4 until 7 p.m. AH relatives and friends are in-' t vited to call and visit with her at that time. No gifts, please. Lucy was born in American Fork to Alva B. and Edith Ann Adams. She graduated from American Fork High School in 1920. She married Kenneth G. Phillips July 3, 1924. He passed away in 1980. She has lived in American Fork all her life, except for short periods when she lived in Provo and then in Brigham City. She is the mother of 10 children, two daughters and eight sons: Mrs. Grant (Edith) Evans, Ogden; Mrs. Bliss (La Von) Fullmer, Roy; Glen, Ralph, Phil, all of Pleasant Grove; Stanley and Larry, American Fork; ' Robert, Mesa, Ariz. Two sons, Don and Dean, are deceased. With great satisfaction she answers an-swers to the name of Grandma to 43 grandchildren, and to the name Great Grandma to 82 great grandchildren. grand-children. She is an active member of the LDS Church. She currently enjoys visiting teaching in her ward. She is a member of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers. Lucy Phillips |
