Show j Arrest made in bomb threat Officer Cody Cullimore arrested a 32-year-old male from Orem last week for making bomb threats against Skyline industries in Pleasant Grove. The man alledgedly also made threats against the police officers. He is being held in Utah County i Jail. ' Strasburg Automotive reported the felony theft of $2,300 in high performance auto parts. Officer Cullimore said there is a suspect in the theft. Two juveniles were arrested on vehicle burglary charges after the ' pair reportedly took some cassette tapes from a vehicle at Pleasant Grove High School. The tapes were valued at $20. The youths were 16 earsofage. t i Ramona Candland, 815 N. 400 East, reported a vehicle burglary while the car was parked in front of her home. Taken were a digital stereo valued at $150 and other items. The total value of the items taken was listed at $200. Officer Jeff Wilson said there are no suspects. Det. Sgt. Steve Frampton arrested three juveniles for the theft of a bike valued at $198. The boys were aged 14 and 15. A vehicle burglary was reported on Feb. 24 by John Home, 565 E. 870 South. He said a radar detector valued at $180 had been taken. There are no suspects, according to Officer Jay Thornton. A pay telephone located near the Valley Truck Stop in Lindon was damaged by someone trying to remove coins. The damage was estimated at $310. The telephone is owned by Mt. Bell. There is a suspect. A window valued at $200 was broken at the home of Riotha Nelson, 695 N. 500 East. The window was shot out by a .22 or BB gun. There are no suspects. ' Douglas Nielson, 1322 N. 280 West, told Officer Jay Thornton that a basketball standard had been stolen. It is valued at $150. An attempted arson was reported at 420 N. State in Lindon. Ray Farley told officers that when he came to work he found a fire burning on the work bench and the building filled with smoke. He put out the fire. He found that the doors to the building had been apparently driven into. A shelf with containers had been turned over. Ashes from a garbage can had been spilt on the floor. A pair of sunglasses had been smashed. A poker from the fireplace had apparently been used to beat in the chimney of the fireplace and the tip of the poker had been used to damage a television set. There were no injuries, re In another accident on Feb. 28 at 100 E. 100 South, a car driven by Kendall Willes, Orem, struck the rear of a car driven by Bradley Buckles, Provo. Officer Wilson said there was $2,000 damage to the Willes car and $1,000 to the Buckles vehicle. An accident occurred at 790 S. State on Feb. 28. An auto driven by Marianne H. Foote, Pleasant Grove, hit the rear of a car driven by James DeGraffenried, Rexburg, Idaho. There was $2,000 damage to the Foote auto but no damage listed to the other. There were no injuries. No one was injured on Feb. 26 when a car driven by Jill T. Cramer, Pleasant Grove, apparently pulled into the intersection at 100 E. Center, and collided with a northbound car driven by Dusty Davis, Pleasant Grove. Damage to the Cramer car was listed at $3,000 and there was $1,200 to the Davis vehicle. In another accident on Feb. 26, cars driven by Wendy Robinson, Provo, and Joan Gurney, Lehi, collided at the intersection of 200 South and Main St. There were no injuries. There was $1,500 damage to the Robinson car and $1,000 to the Gurney auto. Officer Jeff Wilson investigated all of the above accidents. |
