The City Council shall not grant an application for an extention of time, as set forth herein, until the applicant provides to Pleasant Grove City a Cash Construction Bond in an amount equal to 115 percent of the estimated cost of the construction of the improvements for which an extension of time is sought, as determined by the City Engineer. The Cash Bond shall guarantee that the applicant shall construct the required improvements within 45 days after written notice is provided by the City to the applicant that the improvements are to be constructed. If the applicant fails to construct the required improvements within 45 days after written notification from the city, the city may declare the Cash Construction Bond forfeited and the city may install or cause the required improvements to be installed, using the Cash Construction Bond, and all accrued interest, if any, to defray . the expenses thereof. The applicant shall remain liable and responsible for all additional expenses and costs associated with the construction of the required improvements which are not covered by the Cash Con-struction Bond. The applicant shall also pay an extension of time application fee in such sum as is established by resolution of the City Council. SECTION 2. Severability. The provisions of this or-dinance are severable. SECTION 3. Repealer. The provisions of all prior ordinances which are inconsistent or in conflict with this or-dinance are hereby repealed. SECTION 4. Grove budget hearing notice The Pleasant Grove City Council will meet in chambers to conduct public hearings on the proposed 1986-8- 7 budget of the city at 7:30 p.m. July 1, 1986. The council will review proposed uses of Revenue Sharing Funds and citizens will be given an opportunity to make oral and written suggestions regarding uses of these funds. It is estimated that the city allotment will be $70,000 before the program is terminated. Council will also review the city operating budget and citizen input will be invited. The final budget will be adopted at council meeting July 15, 1986 at 7 p.m. Information on the budget may be obtained from the office of the BudgetFinance Direc-tor during regular hours.
