Show Young pianists to perform Sat. Seven of Utah's most gifted young pianists will be featured at a special ; concert Saturday, March 23 at 7 p.m.' in the American Fork 21st Ward, 261 N. 900 East. The musicians range in age from 7 to 13 and each has been recognized for outstanding accomplishment from such groups and competition as the Utah Music Teachers Association, the Wasatch Arts Festival, the University of Utah Summer Arts Festival, Utah County and State Fairs, the Young Keyboard Artists and Stravinsky Awards International Piano Competitions. Com-petitions. The featured performers include three children of Craig and Irene Peery of Provo. Joseph Peery, Christie Peery and Samual Peery. . All have performed and won awards at several competitions, and all have studied at the Peabody Conservatory Con-servatory of Music in Baltimore, Md. Also performing will be Eddie Liu and Michael Liu, the sons of Harold and Maggie Liu of Orem, 7-year-old Janae Codner, daughter of John and Nancy codner ofd Provo and 8-year-old Amy Greenwood, daughter of Dale W. and Sharon Greenwood. There is no charge for admission to the recital, and light refreshments will be served. |
