Show Hospital Volunteers plan annual fund-raising bazaar for Nov. 13 Members of the Volunteer Auxiliary at the American Fork Hospital will hold their annual fund-raising fund-raising bazaar on Friday, Nov. 15 at the hospital. Items will go on sale at 11 a.m., said Roberta Adamson, Auxiliary president, and Betty Powell, bazaar general chairman. The public is invited to attend and start their Christmas shopping early by purchasing the many handmade items available, including baby items, quilts, pillowcases, dishtowels, and a variety of other items. In. addition, the many good cooks in the Auxiliary will provide delicious homemade bread, cookies, cakes, pies, and candies for take-home take-home treats for the family. "We will be making our famous scones to sell at the bazaar," Mrs. Adamson said, and "will have our Pink Ladies cookbooks at a special price." Tickets on a beautiful porcelain doll will also be available for a donation of $1. Proceeds from the fund-raiser go to the new CT-Scan unit. |
