Show . . j : 1 a yk Police investigations Nortons Store has reported that three videos and a VCR were rented and have not been returned to the store, according to Sgt. Mike Blackhurst of the Pleasant Grove Police Dept. The items were checked out on Oct. 25 and have not been returned. They are valued at $609.80. The investigation is continuing. Officer Jay Thornton has arrested one man on possession of marijuana Bill Bule was elected as a new city councilman in Cedar Hills as a write-in candidate. Bill Bule and open container violation. The arrest was made on Oct. 28. Det. Sgt. Steve Frampton arrested a woman for intoxication and loitering on Oct. 27. ;, A wallet belonging to Barbara Lewis was recovered behind a housing complex after it was reported missing from her car while it was parked at 149 S. 200 East. ; Officer Marty Mangum reported that there was apparently nothing missing from the wallet when it was found. David Lee Martinez, 650 N. 100 East, reported that several items worth $1,126 had been taken from his boat which was parked in his yard. There are no suspects in the theft, according to Officer Lonnie Wilson.' Jeannie Beveridge told Officer Mangum that her car was damaged while it was parked at the high school drag strip. The door was damaged and a mirror was ripped off. Damage was set at $150. There are no suspects. John Penrod, 20 S. 700 East, reported that two CB antennas had been stolen. They are valued at $50. Officer Thornton said there were no suspects. Richard A. Hawker, 520 E. 200 North, reported that a .38 pistol valued at $360, a .264 magnum rifle valued at $550 and $72 in cash had been stolen from the main floor of his home. The family has been living in the basement while the main floor was repaired following a fire, Det. Bert Bean reported. The items may have been taken sometime during the summer. There are no suspects. |
