Warnick PaulDeonGi.es Farewells, homecomings planned David Jon Warnick David Jon Warnick, son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard M. Warnick, has been called to the Cleveland, Ohio LDS Mission and will enter the Missionary Training Center on Nov. 14. He will speak in a sacrament meeting on November 10 at 1:15 pm. in the Pleasant Grove 12th Ward, 275 E. 500 South. David graduated with high honors from Pleasant Grove High School and LDS Seminary. While in high school he was involved in tennis, cross country, KPGR radio and served as the president of the National Honor Society. He attended the Utah Technical College for two years and is also a member of the Army Reserve. All friends and relatives are invited in-vited to attend his farewell and also an open house at his home, 150 E. 300 South, after the farewell. Wendy Shumway I A missionary farewell for Wendy , Shumway will be held Sunday, Nov. 10, at 10:45 a.m. in the Lindon Fourth Ward. Sister Shumway has been called to sere in the Canada Vancouver LDS Mission. She will enter the Missionary Training Center on Nov 14. An open house will be held at her home, 268 N. 400 East, Lindon, that same day. The daughter of Douglas Glade and Leone Y. Shumway, Wendy graduated from Utah Technical College. She is employed at Murano Lumber Co. All of her friends and relatives are invited to her farewell and open house. Paul Deon Giles Elder Paul Deon Giles, son of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Giles, Pleasant Grove, has been called to serve in the Iowa, Des Moines LDS Mission. He will speak in a sacrament service Sunday, Nov. 10, 1985 at 3:45 p.m. in the 7th Ward Chapel, 1250 E. 200 South, Pleasant Grove. An open house will be held the same afternoon at the family home, 40 S. 1400 East, Pleasant Grove. Elder Giles will enter the Missionary Training Center on Nov. 21. Mr. & Mrs. Morley Keetch Elder and Sister Morley B. Keetch will report on their recently completed com-pleted mission on Sunday, Nov. 10, at 10:50 a.m. in the Lindon Sixth Ward. They served in the Coventry England LDS Mission. Elder and Sister Keetch have enjoyed serving in England for the past 18 months. They have had many experiences and have made many new friends. This past month they have been touring and have been able to see lots of interesting places. All friends and relatives are invited in-vited to hear their report. Kerry Smith Elder Kerry Smith, son of Mr. and Mrs. Rulon J. Smith, American Fork, has recently returned from serving in the Kobe, Japan LDS Mission. He will speak in a sacrament service Sunday, Nov. 10, at 11:45 a.m. in the American Fork 9th Chaspel, 250 N. 900 East. An open house will also be held the same afternoon at the family home, 255 N. Robinson Avenue, American Fork. |
