With stops in Washington DC, Gettysburg, Philadelphia, ancI New will tour the White Y k the groups House, U.S. Capitol, Washington's hne in Mt Vernon, Virginia and the Liberty Bell and Independence Hall before moving on to New York ratv "The Big Apple." The combined choirs will (perform in St. Patrick's Cathedral ;on Eastor Sunday, at 4:15 p.m. between masses, and Cloggers West will perform on Friday, April 20, at lincoln Center for the Performing Arts. Terry Tucker, director of the groups indicated this is the second time the choir has performed in the famous Cathedral. 'The unique acoustical qualities of the huge cathedral will give the students a most outstanding opportunity to be part of a very unusual choral experience," he said. In addition, ('loggers West has been asked to make a special appearance in the Fountain Plaza of the Lincoln Center. "New York is the entertainment capital of the world, and Lincoln Center is the center of New York entertainment," Mr. Tucker indicated. Because the Center has asked the cloggers to give a full hour program, another companion group, the Sugar Ridge Cloggers, under the direction of Elaine Schaugaard, has been asked to accompany the group. In addition to the performing, the entourage will visit the Statue of Liberty, World Trade Center, Stock Exchange, and Rockefeller Center. Because of the uniqueness of the trip, the groups will have an opportunity to view a stage play on Broadway, "42nd Street". Some 65 people will be making the trip, including many parents and friends of the groups. 3 - ' V V 3J y CLOGGERS WEST will perform on the East Coast as they take an extended tour. . Senior Citizens plan zoo trip The Pleasant Grove Senior Citizens are planning a trip to Hogle Zoo in Salt Lake City on April 28 following the Fireman's Breakfast. The activity will begin with the breakfast that morning. Tickets for the breakfast are available from Kulh Hassenfritz, director of the Senior Citizens.
