Show - Uldll, lido UCCII pi UlllUlLU in nn- w .ir . -" o -jjjpjSjpw ' The cast members of the PGHS production of "Seven Brides for Seven Brothers" kick up their heels in a raucus performance of dance and song during rehearsals for the show which begins next week at the school. Musical of year begins at high school One of the most popular singers to ever perform and graduate from Pleasant Grove High School, Joel McCausland, will return to play a leading role in "Seven Brides for Seven Brothers" which begins tomorrow at Pleasant Grove High School. The enjoyable musical will be performed Nov. 15, 16, 17, and 19 at 8 p.m. at the Pleasant Grove High School auditorium. Tickets are $2. Elaine Hansen, who has delighted audiences with exciting musicals the past few years, will also direct this production. The show is full of singing and dancing and a very interesting story. Seven brothers live on the mountain. The younger ones decide the older brother, played by Joel, should get married so they all go down to the village to find a wife for him. Naturally, while they are down there they meet six brides in addition ad-dition to the one that Adam chooses, Michelle Palmer. Of course, the six girls already have six suitors following them around. The lovesick brothers eventually kidnap the brides and take them up on the mountain. Following a great deal of misunderstanding on the part of the townspeople, the story ends happily. It features a great deal of humor, besides. Student director of the production is Lee Petersen. Other cast members mem-bers include Brent Mills, Ken Jensen, Joe Winther, Todd Hanson, Kyle Johnson, Dan Adams, Susan Southam, Marianne Murdock, Deanna Sorenson, Marcelle Brashear, Terresa Bristol, Julie Brown, Ken Cordner, Val Gilson, Troy Slade, Paul Bronson, Robby Matthews, Jason Leom, Jeff Hullinger, Jim Debenham, Karla Clayson, Chris Rosenlof, Andrea Smith, Trisha Stuart, Annavon Mikesell, Cedele Smith, Lee Peterson, Dorothy Brickly, Yvonne Davis, John Carter and Emily Bunker.
