Show Spotts completes certification V 1 if ' ' been a C.6. Supervisor and now is the Department Manager for the C.S. Department at American Fork Hospital. She has been a member of the Utah Stale Association of Central Service Managers since March of 1980, serving as Delegate at Large and historian. She has served on many seminar planning committees since 1981 and is now secretary, a position she has held since 1982. Barbara Spotts, Central Service Manager at American Fork Hospital, has completed requirements and testing for certification cer-tification as a Central Service manager with the International Association of C.S. Managers. Ms. Spotts is the third person in Utah to accomplish international certification. A graduate of Springville High School, she has attended Brigham Young University and Utah Technical College at Provo-Orem and is currently working toward advancing her education by taking classes toward her Bachelor of Science Degree. ; She has been in the hospital field for 24 years. She worked for a short time as an aide at Rancho Los Amigos Hospital in California; then was employed at Dixie Hospital in St. George, and is presently C.S. Manager at American Fork Hospital where she has worked for the past 15 years. She entered the Central Service field in 1979, and completed the State C.S. Technician program in June of 1980.
