Smith Heidi Hicks Missionary farewells, homecomings planned Ronald Joe Zeidner Ronald Joe Zeidner, son of Ron and Janie Zeidner, will be honored at a missionary farewell Sunday, Aug 19. at 9 a-m- e Pleasant Grove Fourtheenth Ward, Pleasant Grove East Stake Center, 825 S. Loader Ave. Joe has been called to serve in the Kobe, Japan IDS Mission. He will enter' the Missionary Training i Center on Sept 13. j Joe is a graduate of Pleasant Grove High School and LDS i Seminary. He served in student government and on the Seminary Council. He was a member of the A ' Cappella Choir and the National Honor Society. ' He attended Utah Technical ' College during his senior year of I high school. During the past year he has attended Florida Junior College in Jacksonville, Fla. He has been studying general education. He is an Eagle Scout and has received the Duty to God Award. Joe has served as an officer in the Aaronic Priesthood quorums in his wards. Joe currently resides in Orange Park, Florida. This summer he has been working as a counselor at BYU's Especially For Youth program. All . friends and relatives are invited to his farewell. Jeffrey D. Smith Elder Jeffrey D. Smith, son of David and Sharon Smith, has recently returned home after serving an LDS mission to the Columbia, Bogota area. A missionary homecoming will be held Aug. 19 at 10:45 a.m. in the Pleasant Grove Seventh Ward Chapel, 1250 E. 200 South. All of his friends and relatives are invited to his homecoming and to hear his report. Heidi Hicks Sister Heidi Hicks has recently returned from the Alabama Birmingham Mission. Her homecoming will be this Sunday, August 19, at 11:30 a.m. at the Timpanogos Stake Center, 800 N. 100 West. Sister- Hicks has seen great growth in the missionary work in Alabama, and is excited to tell of her experiences there. She invites all family, friends and associates to come. |
