Show Marilyn Kay Harper to become bride of Mark F. Asay in Provo Temple I ' " I I', Jtf , V, I I X w, A Marilyn Kay Harper, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Boyd C. Harper, Pleasant Grove, will marry Mark Foster Asay, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jesse W. Asay, Orem, on Wednesday, August 15 in the Provo LDS Temple. A garden reception will honor the couple that same evening from 7 to 9 at the home of the bride's parents and is open to all friends and relatives. Matrons of Honor are sisters Diane Palmer and Jolene Harris. Maid of Honor is Winda Clark with Caralee Asay as bridesmaid. Best men are Mike Gallaway and Brent Asay. Ushers will be Bruce Harper and jared Harper. The bride-elect graduated from Pleasant Grove High School and LDS Seminary. She was a State Sterling Scholar Finalist in Business Education, Utah Ms. Future Business Leaders of America, Utah State FBLA Executive Council Secretary, President of the Pleasant Grove Chapter of FBLA, Recorder for the Pleasant Grove Youth City Council and member of the National Honor Society. She was also a disc jockey for KPGR radio, active in the Pep Club and served on the Seminary Council. She is currently studying to be a Legal Secretary at the Utah Technical College and is working in Orem as a secretary. Mr. Asay graduated from Orem High School and LDS Seminary. He served a mission for the LDS Church in Seattle, Washington. He is a member of the Utah Valley and Mormon Youth Symphonies, has attended Utah Technical College in Orem and is currently employed there as a draftsman.
