Show Elroy Murdoch services Mary Jense Washburn Services were under the direction of Bishop Don Ray Nelson of the Genola Second Ward. Pallbearers were l)r. Don J. Gilbert, Evan Murdock, Garth Fielding, Bob Fillmore, Terry Walker, Kenny Stoddard and Dr. Jim Walker. Honorary pallbearers were Cuthbert Murdoch, Paul Van Wagoner, Glenn Fillmore, Phillip Ballard, Glen Maxwell, Garth Walker, Bob Walker and Grant Turner. The family prayer was by Richard Murdoch, and the prelude and postlude were played by Donna Davis. The invocation was by Recce Murdoch. The ward choir sang "Life Eternal" accompanied accom-panied by Gay Garner. A tribute was given by Ix:ia M. Gilbert. The grandchildren sang, "AsIHaveI)ved You" and "1 Am a Child of God", accompanied by Susan Murdoch. Speakers were IVesidonl well Thomas and Robert Murdoch. Bishop Nelson gave remarks. A quartet composed of Iieece, Layne, liobert and Ix'c R. Murdoch sang "I Need Thee Every Hour" accompanied accom-panied by li-cia M. Gilbert. The benediction was by lee R. Murdoch and the dedication of the grave was by Iiyne Murdoch. Mary Jense Wash-!-: burn, 73, of Pleasant Grove, died Monday, '-I Nov. 7, 1983 at the Utah '. : Valley Hospital. : - She was born October r -' 2, 1910 in Pleasant Grove, a daughter of : Nels Thomas and Olive Adamson Jense. She - married Viron Wash- 1 : burn May 31, 1940 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. ; She attended schools in Pleasant Grove, BYU and Utah State University. She taught school in Duchesne County and the Alpine ; School District. She was active in politics, ; having served as ! registration agent and 1 1 judge of election for many years. J ' She was a member of j the American Legion president, Junior Sunday School teacher and Primary teacher and in the presidency of the M.I. A. Survivors include her husband of Pleasant Grove, a son and a daughter, Mrs. David (Marianne) Kjar, American Fork; Mark Washburn, Pleasant Grove; 12 grandchildren; grand-children; two brothers, Wesley Jense, Pleasant Grove; Myron Jense, Provo. Funeral services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. in the Pleasant Grove Third Ward, 400 E. 200 North. Friends may call at the church one hour prior to services. Burial will be in the Pleasant Grove City Cemetery. MARY J. WASHBURN Auxiliary and held several positions in that organization. I -. : He was born July 7, 1983 in American Fork. His parents are members of the LDS Church, Orem 12th Ward. He is survived by his parents of Orem; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Von Bennett and Mr. and Mrs. Rodger Hardy, both of Pleasant Grove; great grandparents, grand-parents, Dorothy Roundy, Lehi; Reva Hardy, Provo; Mr. and Mrs. Harold Hansen of Pleasant Grove. Burial was in the Pleasant Grove City Cemetery. |
