Show Lindon voters elect Jacklin, Cullimore, Blackhurst Dean Blackhurst, Scott Cullimore and LeRoy Jacklin have been successful in their bids for four-year terms on the Lindon City Council. When votes were tallied in Tuesday's election Blackhurst came out on top with 291 votes, Cullimore received 262 and LeRoy Jacklin, incumbent, received 254. Other candidates and their vote totals were Darwin Carter with 227 votes, Ted Young with 219 and Leo Carter with 180. Lindon citizens registered to vote totaled 1,288 with 483 of them going to the polls for 38 percent. Continuing on the council are Mayor Kenneth McMillan, William Johanson and E. Ray Brown. They have two years remaining on their , terms. Leaving office after serving four years on the council are Diane, Hacking and Dennis Thompson. LeRoy Jacklin has also served a four year term and was the only councilmember to run again for office. |
