Show LEGAL NOTICE The Utah State Board ( Corrections announces an-nounces that a Public Searing on the location f a regional 288-bed prison at approximately :i0050 West 900 South, iVest Warren, Utah ii'Little Mountain) will 'ktje held on March 23, 1982, at 7 p.m. in the Dgden High School uditorium, 2828 garrison Boulevard, 6 Dgden, Utah. The Hearing will be ' jonducted in the following sequence: i-Sj 1. Introduction and jpening remarks. 2. Presentation on regionalization and the Slppurpose of the proposed jt 288-bed prison. ' 3. Presentation of ''''community views by co- :hair of the Weber bounty Concerned Citizens. 4. Comments and ' responses from the I! floor. 5. Closing remarks. The Utah State Board f Corrections is requesting responses ilFrom interested citizens regarding the following . jssues: 1. Impact on property values. 2. Public Safety. 3. Environment im-, im-, )act. 4. Economic impact. If 5. Impact on criminal justice resources. In compliance with Utah law regarding pen and public meetings (Utah Code jVnnotated 52-4-1 et Seq) i,iind in order to accurately ac-curately transcribe the proceedings, the following procedures ill be adhered to: ft 1. A register will be provided at all en-xances. en-xances. All attendees iiuare requested to sign in prior to the meeting, s 2. The co-chairman of the Weber County Concerned Citizens will make a presentation not to exceed 15 minutes each expressing the overall views and concerns of their group. The Board of Corrections Correc-tions and staff of the Division will respond to these issues not to exceed ex-ceed 10 minutes. 3. Comments from the floor: a) only one speaker at a time; b) comments will be limited to 5 minutes; c) all speakers shall identify themselves prior to expressing their views. 4. It is requested that individuals who wish to speak before the Board of Corrections have their presentation in written form so that it may be used by the Board for review prior to a final decision being made. 5. Interested citizens who cannot attend the public hearing are encouraged to send their views and concerns con-cerns to the Board of Corrections to P.O. Box 2500, Salt Lake City, Utah 84110. Any questions concerning con-cerning this hearing may be., directed to Stephen V. Love, Assistant Director, Division of Corrections at telephone number 533-6541. Following the public hearing, the information will be considered and utilized by the Board of Corrections in its decision-making process proce-ss to determine if they will proceed with this project.
