Show Walker Oil Takes First Place In Basketball Tourney Lindon PrecisionWalker Oil basketball team came out with first place in the annual Pleasant Grove City Men's League basketball tournament tour-nament which concluded last week. Kinsmen who were undefeated during regular season play came in second, followed by Wilkin-sonIiowenI.eavitt, Wilkin-sonIiowenI.eavitt, Wasatch Bank, Kellys Plumbing, H.A.R.T., Wils, and Dans Painters. The most valuable player for the tournament was Gary Jackson of Lindon PrecisionWalker Oil. All star trophies were awarded to Justin Bone, Colby Adamson, John Campbell, Camp-bell, Kent Barry, Kevin Ash and Joe Tate. The top ten scorers in the tournament tour-nament were Kent Barry, Wasatch Bank, 91 points; Gary Jackson, 82; Bruce Bushnell, Wasatch Bank, 64; Leland Adair of Miners Marketing, 63; Joe tate, Wilkin-sonBowenLeavitt, Wilkin-sonBowenLeavitt, 59; John Hansen, Wils, 54; Kevin Ash, Kellys Plumbing, Plum-bing, 53; Steve Downey and Colby Adamson, both of the Kinsmen and both with 51 points; and Mark Walker, Lindon PrecisionWalker Oil, 48. |
