Show Community Voices to Fill Symphony Hall The Utah Chorale's Fourth Annual Sing-In of Handel's "Messiah" returns to Salt Lake's Symphony Hall Sunday evening, Nov. 29, at 8 p.m. The public is invited in-vited to join the Chorale for this performance under the direction of Chorale Music Director Dr. Newell B. Weight. Participants should bring the G. Schirmer edition of the "Messiah." Soloists for the performance per-formance include Bass Clayne Kobison; Tenor Louis Welcher; Contralto Con-tralto Rebecca Jarman; and Soprano Patricia O'Neill. The Utah Chamber Orchestra will accompany the performance. per-formance. By performing the Messiah just after Thanksgiving this year, the Utah Chorale brings the best of the Christmas Christ-mas season lo Utah audiences. The Sing-In is a one-of-a-kind opportunity for Utahns to make their voices heard in the magnificent Symphony Hall. The Sing-In is free for both participants and all others who wish to attend. |
