Business matters were then discussed. Many members were excused because of Mines or other reasons. Due to the sudden passing of our beloved teacher, Edna Newman, New-man, a very interesting article on "Celebration of the Scand-enavian Scand-enavian People" was very well by Leoane Carson. Nora Macfarlane gave an interesting in-teresting talk on home made quilts and quilting. Lottie Carlson brought a hand-made quilt which her mother had made and had several sev-eral other quilt tops on display and gave an interesting talk on them. Light refreshments were served ser-ved to seventeen members by the Camp Officers. The next meeting will be held on Nov. 8 and the officers urge who are interested or eligible eli-gible to become members of the camp and are invited to please attend. The local DUP needs to enlarge the membership mem-bership and the Pioneer lessons les-sons are very interesting.
