Show 'In the Mood' to Perform cal Center. Ken Plain, pianist and arranger, is a scholarship student in music , at the University of Uah. Ken also joins the group occasionally occasio-nally as a vocalist. Tickets may be purchased in advance at the Bountiful Davis Art Center and will also be available at the door. Cost is $5.00 for adults and $4.00 for art center members, mem-bers, senior citizens, and students. For reservations and further information call the Art Center at 581-8820. In the Mood, a vocal group specializing in music of the x 1930's and 1940's will present two concerts at the BountifulDavis Art Center, 2175 South Main, on Friday, March 25, and S iturday, March 26, at 8:00 p.m. The group was organized in the spring of 1981 and has performed for various political, politi-cal, civic, church, and social events throughout the In-termountain In-termountain area. In the summer of 1982 they were featured as guest artist with the Mormon Youth Chorus on their Summer Concert Series. The members of the group come from various walks of life, but all share a great love of the nostalgic period of the 30's and 40's. Jerri Grills, best known for her local theatrical performances is a program coordinator for the University of Utah Medical Center Student Program Division. She has been seen recently at the Bountiful Davis Art Center in Working and The Belle of Amherst. David Glaittli, assistant manager for the Travel Company, has also been involved in local theatre. Kathleen LaRue Mickelsen, a member of the Tabernacle Choir, works as a computer assistant for the V.A. Medi- |
