Show Obituaries Rhonda M. Decker ' Rhonda Mullett Decker died in a Salt Lake City hospital Aug. 23. She was 84. She was born Sept. 5, 1900, in Salt Lake City to Joseph F. and Charlotte Allquist Mullett. She married Fermorz Decker in 1919 in Salt Lake City. He died Nov. 3, 1935. The Decker lived in Park City in the mid '20s and early '30s, according to Park City Historian Bea Kummer. Kummer said they owned a jewelry store that was behind the Park City Community Church, opposite Hodgson's jewelry store, 363 Main St. (now Bloom's). She was a resident of the Golden Living Center in Salt Lake when she died. She is survived by a son, Hal S. Decker, San Rafael, Calif.; a daughter, Mrs. Nathan (Pat) Woolley, Salt Lake; six grandchildren; one great-daughter; great-daughter; a brother, Wesley F. Mullett, Ceder City; and sisters Ruth Newman, Salt Lake, and Melba Miller, Spokane, Wash. She was preceded in death by a brother, Frank Joseph Mullett. Graveside services will be held Saturday at the Salt Lake Cemetery. Clyde Emmett Reid He was born April 18, 1897, in Park City to Hugh Shields and Clarissa Jane Marsh Reid. He was a World War I Army veteran who fought in the European theater. Reid married Nina M. Butts on Aug. 7, 1920, in Farmington, Utah. She died Sept. 19, 1977. ' He was retired from the Salt Lake Fire Department and formerly was employed by Mount Olympus Water Company . He is survived by his children, J. Kenneth Reid (Puerto Rico); Nina R. Trusty, Phyllis Nelson and Mrs.1 Blaine (Rosalie) Josephson (all of Salt Lake); Mrs. James (Dorothy) Mullaney (Idaho Falls, Idaho); Mrs. Tony (Wanda) Termine (San Jose, Calif.); 18 grandchildren; and 12 greatgrandchildren. great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held Aug. 23 at Larkin Sunset Gardens in Salt Lake, followed by interment at the same location. Neil William Springer Neil William Springer died Aug. 20 In Salt Lake City. He was 83. He was born July 16, 1902 in Park City to Alonzo Pierce and Mary Zwelfel Springer. He married Elva Winn Nov. 22, 1924. He was a member of the LDS Chufch and Painter's and Allied Trades. He loved gardening and fishing. ; - He is survived by his wife; children Gary William Springer and Barbara Weaver (both Salt Lake), Darleen Lovea II (Sandy) and Christine Hoyt (West Valley City); sister Ethel M. Harper (Salt Lake); five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by daughter Beverly Hayes, granddaughter Kobyn Hayes and sister Blanche Gatherum. Funeral services were held Aug. 2:i at Descret Mortuary in Salt Lake. .Interment was i Wasatch I .awn Memorial Park. |
