Answer: Miners Day in Park City, The holiday festivities will start off with a dynamite salute at 6 a.m. on Monday. A 7 a.m. interdenominational interdenomina-tional service will be held at City Park and a chuckwagon breakfast, organized by St. Mary's Church, will be served from 7 to 9 a.m. at the park, i The highlight of the day is the parade, which will begin at 10:30 a.m. at the top of Main Street and , wind down to City Park. Judges i unserving Horn a stand at the Memorial Building will award trophies to the best parade entrants, f Food, drink, live entertainment and games will start at City Park at noon, when the parade ends. Then it's rock-bashing time at 1:30 p.m. with the Drilling and Mucking Competition held in the spirit of the old-time contests among miners. The 13th Annual Men's Softball Tournament will be in progress all day at the City Park softball field. Another all-day event will begin at ' 8:30 a.m., when the Women's Athen-; Athen-; aeum presents a flower show and bake sale at the Memorial Building. |
