Show Live tunes let you roll into summer For a lot of people, spring fever and live music go together like a redwood deck and margaritas. This week strains of folk and rock-and-roll music will emanate from several local establishments and if you are in the mood you might find the sources of those melodies at the following night spots. Baja Cantina Sometimes the best music is home grown as local musicians demonstrate demon-strate at the Baja Cantina at the Park City Resort Plaza every Thursday night. The informal jam session starts at 9 p.m. All local musicians are welcome to join in. Beaver Creek bin There will be a hot time in Samak Saturday night when Dr. Bob and his band unleash their rock-and-roll sound at the Beaver Creek Inn on Highway 150, east of Kamas. The music starts at 9 p.m. Cowboy Bar The Tempo Timers will return to Park City this weekend with appearances at the Cowboy Bar Friday and Saturday night. They will start boogie-ing to a rhythm and blues beat at 9 p.m. each night. Down Under Folk music is at the top of the menu at the Down Under Wednesday Wednes-day through Saturday evenings. Vocalist Kat James attracts a local following that has been known to join in on occasion. Grub Steak Dinner music at the Grub Steak Restaurant this weekend will be provided by the vocal duo Ruby Two Shoes. They will play Friday and Saturday night from 7 to 11 p.m. |
