Show Transfer student policy eyed Although in the past the Park City School District taced the problem of losing students to private schools, it is now attracting students from other school districts. The Board of Education considered instituting a standardized policy for accepting transfer students at its meeting Wednesday night. The policy as proposed requires parents or guardians of non-resident children who wish to attend Park City schools to petition the school board for acceptance. It states that acceptance would be dependent on the board's decision on whether the additional students would have a negative impact on resident students and adds non-resident students may be required to pay tuition. |
