Show Rec. Department Lists Winter Class Schedule The Park City Recreation Department's winter schedule, sche-dule, published this week, offers a healthy selection of classes, workshops and activities acti-vities for residents of all ages. At the White Pine Touring Center, cross-country ski lessons are available in two four-week sessions at. $25 a session. There is also an avalanche clinic offered in two sessions at $15 where participants will learn to detect dangerous snow conditions con-ditions and what to do in the event they are caught in a t slide. For $95 skiers can go on a three-day Uinta tour Feb. 4-6 that includes food, cabin and instructions. Under 'et cetera", certified certi-fied CPR training is available in two three-hour sessions at $5 a session. Myle Jackson is teaching a six-week course in caligraphy and a new mixed bowling league is forming on Sundays. Of interest this session is an invitation to all musicians to form a town orchestra. The Civic Music Ensemble will practice at the Memorial , Bldg. Thursdays from 7:30 p.m. and is under the direction of Annie Bowman.' There is no charge for interested musicians. For children, there are classes in ballet, tap and gymnastics. Steve Hunt will teach a class this session in circus arts where children will get instruction in juggling, jugg-ling, clowning and tumbling. Annie Bowman is teaching arts and crafts Tuesdays at 50 cents a session ;nri every Thursday there is Foosball free in the Memorial Building's Build-ing's game room. Local dance instructor Mary Jane Bird is teaching classes in aerobics, ballet, jazz and tap and Shelby Mikkelsen continued to otfer her popular belly dancing courses in two sessions on Mondays.
