"Dark Circle"-An anti-nuclear film that focuses on the Rocky Flats facility near Denver and the Diablo Canyon reactors in California. Califor-nia. Very well made. "Fire on The Water"-The disturbing look at the conflict over fishing rights on the gulf coast of Texas between white racists and Vietnan-mese Vietnan-mese refugees. "Moses Pendleton Presents Pre-sents Moses Pendleton"-An American original, the film looks at the inner workings of a unique choreographer, formerly with Polabilus Dance Company and Momix, and energetic and eccentric individual, full of the rhythms rhy-thms of life and art. A must see. "Poto and Cabengo"-The strange, amusing story of two young sisters who were thought to have a learning disability, but instead had created their own new language. "Miles To Go"-Women in the wilderness confront each other and themselves as they endeavor to experience the wonderment of nature. - "Rodin: The Gates of Hell "-The reverent telling of Rodin's masterpiece and life work, and the spectacular pouring that finally sets the work in bronze. "SL-1"-The bizarre story of the first nuclear reactor accident in the U.S., back in 1961, near Idaho Falls, Idaho, made from government govern-ment footage and documents. docu-ments. Eerie in its presentation presenta-tion and tone, an indictment of safety and clean-up efforts. "Say Amen, Somebody "-The "-The progenitors of gospel music sing and swing their ways into your heart. A joyous, moving and energetic energe-tic look at the lives and passions of the originators of gospel music. Played to sell-out houses at the New York film festival. "Vernon, Florida"-From the same man that brought you Gates of Heaven, this hilarious, slightly off-centered look at some of the inhabitants of Vernon, Florida, Flori-da, including a man obssess-ed obssess-ed with hunting wild turkeys. Outrageously funny, don't miss this one! - "Conversations With Wil-lard Wil-lard Van Dyke"-A man who was out to change the world with a movie camera. Dramatic "The Ballad of Gregorio Cortez"-Set on the border between Mexic ? and Texas at the turn of the century, a struggle for respect and dignity for Hispanic peoples. "The Mediterranean"-A soft, dreamy story about a man and wife and their young daughter, living on an isolated ranch searching for the romance they knew when they met on the Mediterranean.
