Show Review Zoning Ordinance ed. During a special meeting of the Summit County Planning Plan-ning Commission.heldto review re-view the proposed Zoning Ordinance,, the following changes were noted in this Ordinance: 4.3-A, Continuation of Intended In-tended Land Uses Previously Previous-ly Authorized. The period of six (6) months should be changed to a period of one (1) year, 4.10-A. Maximum and Minimum Height of Buildings. Build-ings. A provision should be Included for more stories when housing unit is built on a steep slope. 4.13. Yards to be Unobstructed. Un-obstructed. Exceptions. This part should be deleted. 4.16. Maximum and Minimum Min-imum Height of Fences. Research Re-search needs to be done to discover under what circumstances circum-stances ahighfence (sixfeet) could be permitted in zones other than the stated A-l Zone. 4.20-L, Landscaping Re- quired Surrounding Off Street Parking Space. This should be changed to the effect ef-fect that off-street parking lots designed for ten (10) or more vehicles must have a landscaping plan for said lot, which plan must be approved ap-proved by the County Planning Plan-ning Commission. 4.28-E. Height of Signs. An across-the-board sign height of twenty fivefeet (25') would work a hardship on independent in-dependent gas stations who could not compete with those major oil companies having high signs and also those stations that were set back from the roads a great distance. dis-tance. Further study needs to lie done to make this section equitable. 7.4-1 Application. The requirement re-quirement of six (6) copies of the plan should be changed chang-ed to eight (8) copies of the plan. 11. Establishment of Zones All proposed lot sizes for each zone need to be review- |
