Interesting Observations Governor Calvin Rampton was in Park City on Friday to listen to remarks concerning, con-cerning, as well as make comments on, the recent NTDS survey. Stressing the importance of communication communi-cation between local state governments, the Governor remarked that in order for the state to be strong, it was essential for local governments to have strength and effectiveness. He further stated that it was up to the state to properly delegate the authority to the towns and from there it was up to the local governments to enforce it. Commenting on social services, the Governor said that he would like to see the local governments have more control in rendering such services. Regarding the medical facilities in Park City, he acknowledged the need for more complete facilities. He told of a state-sponsored program that offers subsidies to medical students who plan on opening practices in rural communities. The Governor also said that the differences dif-ferences between Mayor Price an(i..Maiy. Lehmer were unfortunate. Concerning communication between the townspeople and the Resort, the Governor felt that since the addition of Dale Zabriskie to the staff of the Resort, things were greatly improved.
