Nov. 9 Adolpho Eber-hardt, Eber-hardt, Republican, defeated James Gray, Democrat, for governor by an old time majority of more than 50,000 For three state elections prior to i thlo, the lute John A. Johnson, Democrat, Demo-crat, carried the state by overwhelm ing majorities. The legislature Is Republican and all of the Republican candidates for congress have been elected. Congressman Congress-man Hammond, Democrat, Is the only one of that party to win.
