Dlx, Democrat, has been elected governor of New York over Henry L: Stlmson, Republican, by between ' 55,000 and CS.l'OO plurality. These figures may be changed slight ly by returns from up-state rural districts. New York city gives Dlx a plurality plural-ity of at least 100,000, which rnoro than offsets the greatly reduced plurality plu-rality of the Republicans up-state.
