Show INVESTING IN THIS SECTION. An Eastern man has purchased 50 acres of land to the north erf Ogden and is to return to make other purchases. Later on he may establish a bank and invite his friends to join with him in the banking business and in acquiring more land in this valley. The investor is a cautious, slow-moving, conservative business man, who has had a wide experience in both banking and farming. After carefully investigating the land and water resources of this region and after studying the business outlook, he made his first move by purchasing, a tract of land. Now he says he is convinced this city and surrounding country are but in the infancy of their development and he is prepared to recommend Ogden to his Eastern East-ern associates as the mo6t promising city in the west for investment. This is most encouraging. It is praise that is without false flat-tery, flat-tery, for when an eastern banker sees enough merit to invest his money, there is something more than empty words in his expression of admiration. |
