Show 1ST IMPRESSIVE SERVICES HELD The funeral of Mary J. Allred was held at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon at the Slatervllle meeting house, with Bishop James Slater officiating. Musical numbers were rendered render-ed by the choir. "I Need Thee Every Hour" and "The Resurrection Day," solos, were rendered by Mrs. Mary Farley, "Not Half Has Even Been Told" and "Sometime We'll Understand" Under-stand" also "And After." The speakers were Henry Holley, W. H. Manning, Bishop Robert Mc-Farlane. Mc-Farlane. Bishop Levi J. Taylor and Tatrlarch G. W. Larkln. who touched iijwn the noble life of the deceased. The attendance was the largest ever witnessed In Slatervllle. the meeting house being Inadequate to admit all the relatives and friends. There was also a profusion of floral tributes which bespoke of the love and esteem the deceased held among her host of friends. The funeral cortege to the Ogden city cemetery was nearly a mile long, where the Interment was made. |
