Show DEATHS AND I FUNERALS ,i J. PARKER PERRY. : One of the most largely attended ! funerals ever held In the village of Wlllard was that of the late. J. Parker Par-ker Perry, the well known youn?, an ' who died at tho hospital in this city, 86 the result of Injuries sustained a few days ago. A largo number of the Borrowing friends were unable to gain i an entrajico to tho tabernacle. .' Funeral services were conducted at ' 1 o'clock, with Bishop Joseph Hub-; Hub-; bard officiating. The speakers were C Bishop Hubbard, John Edwards. Bishop Bish-op Frazer, Professor Merrill, principal of the Brlgham City schools, and Patriarch Pa-triarch George W. Larkln, of this city. The "ward choir rendered the selections, selec-tions, "Shall We Meet Beyond the River," Riv-er," T Need Thee Every Hour," and "Sometime We'll Understand." In addition ad-dition to these Prof. Ballard rendered the solo, "Softly and Tenderly Jesus Is Calling." As tho young man had been attending attend-ing the Willard public schools and was a student at the time of his death, tho students of both schools attended the funeral services In a body. The High school tendered a floral offering depicting de-picting a large lyre, while tho tribute of the Wlllard students was a large floral piece portraying tho gates ajar. There were other beautiful tributes In addition to these, The Interment was mado in the Willard Wil-lard cemetery. |
