Drawers Draw-ers had been pulled from the dressers dress-ers and their contents scattered about the floor. A trunk also had been broken open. Some jewelry, which had been left In one of the sleeping rooms, was taken together with somo ladles' wearing apparel. An overcoat was stolen and some silverware Is nl so missing. While the robbers apparently made n Btrenuous effort to locate any money that mgbt have been n the bouse, they dd not succeed in finding any. Tbe thieves entered the house through the rear door by the use of a skeleton key. Tho family key had been left n the lock, but was deftly pushed out cither by the key of the robbers or by a par of pliers.
