Show REPORT ON THE MILK DEALERS During the past three days, Food Inspector W. J. Hoyt and assistant Walter Chi Ids. have Inspected fourteen four-teen places where- oivk are being milked for I he market, Un report of the Inspectors not being altogether favorable. Mr. Hoyt states that the sanitary conditions nround the corrals and stalls where the cows are fed and milked are not Hatlsfactory. The places are not being kept clean and the cows are not getting the proper care The animals arc fat enough, says the Inspector, but they are not kept clean, and in many Instances thowe who do the milking are not as clean as they should be. Mr. Hoyt snys, however, that the Vineyard dairy, houth of the city, is aruoDg the best kept diaries ho hns eer had the pleasure of visiting, and. be says he wants to hold It up to the other dairymen as an example of what a dairy should be. He says that 50 cows are being milked there and that they are the finest specimens of milkers in the country. The cows In this dairy have been carefully tested for tuberculosis and found to bo entirely free from the disease.
