Show SALOON MEN MUST NOW ANSWER Judge R. S. Farnsworth rendered a decision In police court this morning declarinir valid the city ordinance now on the books against the fab? of intoxicants to minors The omission of the words "Intoxicating liquors" from the text of the ordinance, according ac-cording to the judge, does not render the ordinance Invalid. The contention was raised by Captain Cap-tain llulaniskl. attorney for the Baumelster brothers, that the city ordinance or-dinance against the sale of intoxicants intoxi-cants to minors could not be enforced as published because of a mistake of the typesetter in printing the ordinance ordi-nance book. With the rejection of this demurrer by the court, the cases against the proprietors of the Exchange Ex-change saloon and other saloon men now under fire will b. takcm up by I the court in the usual manner. |
