Show I DEATHS AND I FUNERALS MARION FITZGERALD. Marlon Irene, the four- ear-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. S. T. Kltz-gerald, Kltz-gerald, who reside at 2G1 Twenty-seventh street, died at 11 o'clock yesterday yester-day forenoon, after a brief Illness from diphtheria. The death of the child Is an uuusually severe shock, owing to the fact that the mother Is quite ill. The funeral will be hold privately tills afternoon, THOMAS B. GRUNDY. Thomas R. Grundy, aged 54 years, died at the family residence, 2510 Oak avenue, at 7 o'clock last evening after an Illness of only a few hour. His death was due to neuralgia of the heart, and he w-as taken ill at 11 o'clock yesterday forenoon. He w-os a prominent member of the Woodmen of the World. Funeral arrangements ar-rangements will be announced later. WILLIAM F. RHODES. Death claimed another pioneer resi-r!cnt resi-r!cnt of this city when William Franklin Frank-lin Rhodes, aged 92 years, died at his home, 3214 Washington avenue, at 9 o'clock yesterday morning. His death was due to the Infirmities of old age. He was born in Georgia on Decern ber 20, 1 SIS. and had resided in this section of the country for many years previous to his death. Surviving him are two daughters and one son, also several grandchildren and great grandchildren The funeral will be held Friday afternoon, af-ternoon, with services at Llndquist s chapel at 2 o'clock. Interment will be made In the city cemetery. The remains will He in state at Llndqulst's this evening and tomorrow tomor-row forenoon. oo |
