Show succeeds a deputy who will study law. Glgnnco Nelson, of the Nelson Secret Se-cret Service bureau of San Francisco, together with his assistant superintendent, superin-tendent, C. L. Ilazlett, arrived in this city shortly after noon tnday and prepared pre-pared to take Mrs. Blackwood back to California at once. The detectives told local officers that they have a very strong case against the woman, on the charge of robbing a prominent San Francises physician of $2,000 worth of diamonds. The San Francisco men were closeted with Mrs. IMackwood for several hours this afternoon, but the result of their cross-questioning could not be learned. It Is said that the woman has consented con-sented to accompany the detectives back to Sacramento without the necessity neces-sity of securing extradition papers. They havo a warrant charging her with the theft of the gems. The officers of-ficers expect to start for the West this evening. oo - society mm DEPUTY SHERIFF UNIONTOWN, Pa..
