Show Treaty Belween Mexico and the United States Negotiated Washington, May 31 Aerial navl Ration has made such rapid strides that Secretary of State Knox and the government of Mexico are negotiating an aviation treaty governing the passage pass-age of airships across the border belween be-lween the two countries. It will be the first treaty governing aviation between be-tween nations and is already on the road to completion It Is announced from the state department de-partment that Mr. Knox Is only awaiting await-ing the text of Mexico's proposition in detail before taking final action on the terms of the treaty. The possibility of using airships to avoid customs regulations or even to bring lo immigrants Is already a question which the Mexican govern ment feels must be given consideration. considera-tion. The plan is to make compulsory tho registration of airships which cross Ihe border and to compel operators of these machines to obey these regulations. |
