Show OGDEN WOMAN DIES 1 IN MVERDALE At her home In Rlverdale at 3.30 Saturday afternoon, Mrs. Gertrude Roman passed to tho Grat Rnyond. after a brief illness of paralysis. Sli was fifty years of aue, the wife of Dankl B Roman, and well known In Opdrii as well us in other sections of Weher county. Shi was dearly beloved be-loved by those who knew her, and was looked up to by all as a. woman of sterling qualtilet;. The family removed re-moved from Ogden to Rlverdale only a few years ago Mrs. Roman was born in Amsterdam, Amster-dam, Holland, November 20. lS.'.O. was the daughter of Hermanns and Mario Baaker Terbroo.an. W hen a young woman sho joined tho Latter -Day Saint church in her native land, doing much to bless the elders who were laboring in The Netherlands at that time. ,She was faithful to her religious relig-ious convictions to the end September Septem-ber 23. 1879, with her parents, brother and sisters, sho arrived in Ogden City. A husband, four sons, two daughters, three grandchildren, one brother and one sister together with a host of friends will mourn her demise. de-mise. Funeral services will be held at the Rlverdale Ward meeting house Wednesday, Wed-nesday, at 1 o'clock. The casket will be open at the home Tuesday afternoon after-noon and evening, abo Wednesday until 12:30 p ni. Interment will take place In the Ogden City Cemetery. |
