Show WASHINGTON PARTY. The pleasant home of Mrs. Addle Williams, president of Dlx-Logan Relief Re-lief Corps. No 2, was the scene on Tuesday of a large gathering in honor of Washington's birthday. An Interesting Inter-esting program, games, music, social chat and entertaining reminiscence, followed by a sumptuous banquet, completed an afternoon replete with entertaining features and pleasant memories. High F1vq was Indulged in fora short time and prizes wero awarded to Mrs. Mary Couch, Mrs, Greenwood and Mrs. Summervllle, after which a patriotic musical program, Interspersed Inter-spersed with other popular musical selections, was rendered. A brief resume re-sume of the life of Washington was ably handled by Mrs. Connie Rankin, who received very complimentary mention, the program closing with the rendition of "Ring Those Heavenly Bells" by the ladle en chorus. ' " The banquet table, beautifully decorated deco-rated lu the national colors, smllax and cut flowers In profusion, and laden with all the choice viands of the season, sea-son, presented a most Inviting scene. Patriotic toasts w-ith fitting responses and the usual social chat were greatly enjoyed by the foity guests present. Among the special guests were Commanders I. N. Pierce, Thomas Lundy und Wr. L.
