Show BREWERY WORKERS IflSTAJl OFFICERS Eat, drink and be merry, but do not overdo It. was the admonition I given by the master of ceremonies at j tbe annual Installation of officers or Brewery Workers' Local No. 325 at Union Labor ball last evening. The following officers were Installed In the U6ual munner: President, Myron My-ron D. Richardson; vice-prcsldenr., Edward H. Wright; secretary. Sunny M. Moore; corresponding secretary, Alonzo West; treasurer, James At-kiiiHou; At-kiiiHou; trustees. Geo. Dinsdale, John Williams and E K. Lund. Following the Installation of officers President Richardson, in a rousing address, welcomed the. guests to the evening's pleasure, Brotner Geo. Dinsdale then addressed ad-dressed those present, and Id behalf of Local No. 325 presented President Richardson with a beautiful gold watch as a token of esteem and for tbe good work accomplished during two previous terms of office Gives Gold Watch. The gift, coming as a complete surprise sur-prise to the worthy prosldt, was accepted ac-cepted by him with words of heartfelt appreciation and of love for his fellow workmen. The guests numbered over 125 person6, among them members of the executive board of the Slate Federation Fed-eration of Labor and the Ogden Trades and Labor Assembly. In the dining room the guests were served to a sumptuous repast. They then repaired to the assembly nnd enjoyed tbe following program: Solo, "Lovo Mo and the World Is Mine," by Walter Andrews. Address by Theodore F. Glese, president pres-ident of the Ogden Trades and Labor Assembly. Solo, " 'Twas In the Time of Roses," beautifully rendered by Miss Artie Simpson. Solo, "Heaven on This Side of tho Moon," Benjamin Janeen. Comic recitation, "A Visit to St Peer," W. D. Watson Address. Joseph Oliver, secretary Ogden Trades and Labor Assembly. Orson, In very good style, wng the solos, " 'Cause I'd Nothing Else to Do" and "A Rose of Memory." Address, Wm. PlRgntt, president State Federation of luibor. Solo by B- H Wright, entitled "The Laboring Man." Hearty applause followed each rendition. ren-dition. President Richardson made a fewr closing remarks, completing an enjoyable enjoy-able evening. |
